Mr Poilievre, Conservative Party of Canada & All Conscientious Patriotic Canadians
MUST-READ LETTER FOR ALL CANADIANS
I am writing as a very concerned Canadian, and long time (substantial) taxpayer. I was born, raised and became successful thanks to being Canada. My father was born in Canada and fought in the second World War. My father’s father was born in Canada and fought in the First World War. My mother’s father was born in Canada and fought in the First World War. As a 77 year old retired successful entrepreneur, despite having no formal education and never having had a ‘job’. I simply never had the luxury of time to get involved or even pay attention to politics.
Having travelled the world extensively I was constantly impressed and extremely proud of the way we Canadians are consistently held in such high esteem, always recognized as a country known for our integrity, reliability, and dependability. It appears that politics introduces a completely different paradigm.
I have never been a member of any political Party due principally to my not having confidence that our adversarial Party concept in our system of politics is not simply a materially flawed abstract concept that has resulted in total dysfunction. I voted for the first time in our most recent election, based on the drastic real life crisis our country was facing. I investigated each Party’s candidates closely and based solely on candidate experience, I voted for Prime Minister Carney, who has proved my confidence in him to be well invested repeatedly.
My purpose for writing this letter is to express my serious concerns regarding the crisis on our doorstep with America having invoked the War Powers Act (amongst other things) and outright threatened to take over our country militarily! Fortunately the Supreme Court, blocked that Executive Order along with most of Trump’s 50 or 60 others Executive Orders, including most recently his attempts to block the $4 Billion bridge unless he’s given “at least 50% ownership and ownership of the land on the America side”. The facts clearly show that Canada had given America 50% ownership FREE by its trusting neighbour whom paid 100% of the costs.
It has become increasingly more obvious that there are literally, at minimum two completely different realities existing out there: 1. the political world, and 2. the real world as exemplified by a number of your leader’s recent statements showing that the Conservative Party collectively supports America’s position in all of this.
Canadians have never accepted or tolerated any form of dishonesty, unethical conduct, or corrupt practices. It is clear, based on reporting on Mr. Poilievre and Mr. Jamil Jivani (who recently took it upon himself to travel to America masquerading as an Ambassador or deal maker in what appears to be a betrayal to us). If conduct such as this was to take place in the business world and I was a shareholder, I would have sued the Party leader, and Mr. Jivani for, at minimum malfeasance, if not outright Treason!
At this crucial time in our country’s history, amidst constant verbal threats of war, I am respectfully calling on you to respect our Canadian Democracy enough to “put our country over Party”. Surely what is seen as ‘acceptable’ conduct by our Conservatives constitutes flawed governance, that includes officials intentionally misrepresenting the facts (“lying”). I am requesting clarification on this point.
I must confess to having been literally shocked (I am anything but naive) to see how similar to and supportive your Party’s Leader has been of the American President’s totally unacceptable and crass behaviour and conduct. And with a recent Poll showing that over 50% of Canada’s Conservative Party recently stating in a poll that “Trump is doing a great job in America”, it is confusing to me to understand why you all haven’t just moved to America and become Republicans.
Mr. Javani’s recent grandstanding trip to America was contemptuous and offensive and by going behind our Prime Minister’s back while negotiations are taking place, in my opinion constitutes Treason and a conscious effort to sell out Canada. I respectfully ask that you and Mr. Jivani reply to this letter in detail disclosing if the Canadian Tax Payer paid ANY portion of the related expenses (salaries, airfare, hotel, entourage expenses etc.). If so that money should be repaid immediately.
I’ve recently watched enough sessions of Parliament to be legitimately concerned by the wilful misinformation and manipulation that Mr. Poilievre is constantly seen delivering to Parliament with the accompanying pantomimed confirmations and applause of the Party. Is this really what you understand is the role of the official Opposition Party in our Democracy?
It appears obvious that our political system is materially flawed, as I see you orchestrating unjustifiable adversarial and antagonistic hostility. America today stands as the literal poster child for corrupt government which is the main cause of the moral decay that is about to destroy America. There is simply no room in Canadian politics for such degenerative thinking and/or actions. If this is the politics preferred by and supported by your Party and its Leadership, possibly you should consider moving to America as there is simply no room for American style of political corruption here.
Canadian taxpayers are the ones who are ultimately paying all the bills and we do so confidently that our income tax dollars, are being wisely invested.
I am requesting a reply from the Leader as well as other named and unnamed Party members explaining your collective logic of trusting that “a 20 year old fresh out of school, whom then spends the next 20 years as the Conservative Party’s “Pit Bull” can somehow be seen as a qualified replacement for our Prime Minister.
Your conduct to date shows that you’ve collectively consciously formed a strategy of attack, resulting in what I see as a major distraction and burden on our Prime Minister at the most critical time in our history while America is threatening us militarily, economically and emotionally. You may be a political pit bull but that doesn’t qualify you as a negotiator on a world stage. Let’s see your credentials.
The Conservative Party is collectively telling Canadians that “the better choice is the Conservative Party led by Mr. Poilivier who refuses to even get Security Clearance.
I’m just a self educated (uneducated to some) successful Canadian entrepreneur (retired) with a solid background in building company’s from the ground up but in my world, no company can ever be successful with unqualified leadership. I understand that PM Carney (on a scholarship) graduated from Harvard University (magna cum laude) and went on to a Phd at Oxford in economics. He then served as Governor of the Bank of Canada amidst Canada’s financial crisis, and went on to serve as Governor of the Bank of England navigating that country’s financial crisis (Brexit). He then went on to a successful 13 years at the most powerful investment firm in the world Goldman Sacs networking with the CEO’s and political leaders around the globe . . . and the list goes on, and on (Brookfield etc.)
I am no man’s cheerleader, or any Party’s, club’s, collective’s or group’s cheerleader. I’m just your classic everyday Canadian who is genuinely concerned that we everyday Canadians who are seeking the absolute best for our country. Our politics seem much more dependent on a popularity contest as opposed to credentials. This is a dangerous lack of real world comprehension. The plethora of challenges being so masterfully dealt with by our Prime Minister falls nothing short of “Genius” (according to international media) in the real world and to have him attacked daily with bath faith allegations by you is disheartening.
If the Conservative Party of Canada has the skill-set, acumen and experience comparable to the brief outline I shared above regarding our Prime Minister you are hereby invited to state you case.
This is not a time for petty politics or showmanship. As a patriotic Canadian I expect a universal “Country over Party” commitment from every government official and Party that my tax money pays for. I am requesting that you send me a copy of Mr. Poilievre’s curriculum vitae to help me (and the rest of the country) understand how the Conservative Party intends to do the challenging job that PM Carney has been doing so efficiently at, despite your statements to the contrary publicly.
What I see in the media is what appears to be a seriously misunderstood and/or misinterpreted concept of how our democracy is designed to work. I must state the obvious, “our democracy does not include any deceptive, dishonest, or even manipulated distortions of fact”.
For clarity, here are a couple of examples of what has brought this request for answers to the surface. Social Media has (rather unfortunately) shown itself to be one of the few reliable sources of factually accurate information:

calls for Liberals to scrap the temporary worker program, called out fast food chains for hiring migrants over locals, sighting Tim Hortons’ use of the temporary worker program and in a media statement Tim Hortons said less than 5% of its workers are hired through that program in small communities where local candidates are not available. This sounds very Trumpian to me! What do you think?

As a taxpayer I find it more than a little concerning to have my tax dollars used to pay for one of our political parties and/or its Leader, knowingly making defamatory baseless allegations (with vocal and visible support of your observably supportive Party members in Parliament on national television). This does not play well to the world!
In the above referenced videos the host, Mr. Kellerman, alleges that Mr. Poiliviere and the Conservative Party are “going full MAGA” (copying the failed politics south of our border) while being paid by our tax dollars. He suggests that Mr. Poilievre and the Conservative Party are willfully behaving dishonestly. I invite Mr. Poilievre and Mr. Jivani explain their conduct set out here and not perpetuate the educated polished distortion of the facts.
I would request to have Mr. Poilievre or the Conservative Party explain where they get their research from, as the facts clearly show that Mr. Carney actually proved extremely successful as the Governor of the Bank of England, (as well as the Governor of the Bank of Canada) as Prime Minister Carney is resoundingly credited for resolving the horrendous challenges England faced to settle Brexit and he certainly is not globetrotting around the world grandstanding. Truth matters or at least should matter!
I am honestly just trying to understand the logic or possibly illogic of a political system in which taxpayers pay all the expenses for the entire party that lost the election including their support staffs and any/all expenses, with the sole goal and mandate of opposing everything that the party that won the election does! And to have that losing party manipulate the truth and distort the facts, is simply unsustainable, logical and downright corrupt and not something that voters should have to pay for.
There simply is no logic, integrity, or sanity in following this recipe, but that seems to be the case being put forth by the Conservative Party of Canada. The cost should absolutely not be the burden of the taxpayers! It is clear that the present system is dysfunctional and not working. The fact that PM Carney is required to waste so much of his extremely valuable time, energy and resources, responding to these bad faith attacks and character assignation attempts, is simply dysfunctional, unacceptable and something that is out of control. Possibly some real world business experience may be required here.
Our elected Prime Minister should not be required to waste valuable time participating in some kind of no holds barred popularity contest with a self proclaimed ‘political pit bull’ who uses lies and misrepresentation to recruit and motivate their base. This simply cannot be rationalized somehow as acceptable governance. Constantly falsely attacking our Prime Minister using knowingly factually distorted allegations while demanding his time to defend himself, is absolutely contradictory to common sense and logic and is unacceptable from taxpayer’s point of view.
We Canadian taxpayers pay a lot of our hard earned money in the form of taxes to have qualified people of integrity operate and govern the affairs of our country. The Conservative Party receives a substantial portion of those tax dollars and I’m asking the Conservative Party to explain “what benefits we get in return”. If all we get is an experienced pit bull politician we would be being shortchanged. The job of Prime Minister should not be a learning process or a work in progress. Let’s see the qualifications!
For taxpayers to fund the losing Party and it’s entire staff with salaries, and supply and pay for the Opposition Leader’s accommodation with fully staffed residence while your sole fixation is to disrupt the success of our Prime Minister is simply unacceptable. The logical question is: “What do we taxpayers get In return for all that money?” If you deem this flawed logic as acceptable (attacking our Prime Minister as you have been doing), as shareholders in this, we everyday Canadians, regardless of party affiliation, at a bare bones minimum deserve concrete assurances from you that you will be honest at all times and that which has been published publicly as “your lies, distortions and misrepresentations” . . . . will STOP immediately!
I am asking that you simply support our country and our Prime Minister who has been doing an extraordinary job of us through these troubled waters, or at a bare bones minimum confirm that you will stop distorting the truth resulting in our Prime Minister having to waste his time, energy and resources playing politics. We are seeing where similar pit bull tactics and bullying behaviour has pretty much destroyed our neighbour to the south, primarily with the use of tactics that appear to mirror those being employed by your Party Leader. As an addendum I am including this list of published accomplishments of our Prime Minister that you apparently have missed:

This list is even not close to being inclusive as I only reference published YouTube articles starting in January 2026 but my research clearly shows that your party’s public allegations against our Prime Minister “traveling around the world grandstanding” is anything but truthful or factually accurate.. You owe our Prime Minister and the Canadian people a formal apology.
Canadians are not interested in living the American dream as that dream has clearly become a literal nightmare for the people. Prime Minister Carney has kept that nightmare from infiltrating Canada which is an impressive foundation for protecting the future of our nation.
And most recently you have started promoting injecting yourself and/or Mr. Jivani into the trade war with Donald Trump as negotiators. You are obviously confusing yourself as being the winner of the last election and not the loser. The majority of the country made it abundantly clear that we wanted Mark Carney to serve as our Prime Minister. Do you not understand that your constant grandstanding is interfering with our PM’s strategy.
I feel that I must remind you that you have yet not even justified your negotiating skills, experience, and competency at high level negotiations in stressful situations. I’m looking forward to receiving your curriculum vitae and until you deliver same I would appreciate you stopping the bad faith stories that you have been relying on.
These matters are much more serious than party affiliation, politics and/or party loyalty. It’s all about the integrity of our government and governance, especially when dealing with and for “we the people”. Politicians are accountable to we the people and I’m holding you accountable for your collective conduct and I’m asking you to stop interfering with our nation’s affairs at such a critical time. When you win an election you can call the shots but until then please stop the childish grandstanding, time wasting and imposing on the time of the man that we elected to do the job.
I am sending a copy of this invitation to you, to all media outlets (television, newspaper, radio, social media, etc.), and inviting them to have their reporters and/or anchors go through this letter with you publicly giving you the opportunity to clarify your side on the above referenced matters.
I’ll be happy to get involved if you prefer to debate my positions with me, but I am confident that our Press is equally well equipped to pursue this. I feel that I’ve done my duty articulating this disturbing situation to you and the media and the Canadian people and I trust our media to present this matter to the nation.

With so much false information dominating Social Media I believe that it is impossible for anyone to legitimately get informed, especially on YouTube where the decided majority of podcasts are Artificial Intelligence written but masqueraded as “being brought to you by a variety of known celebrities like Warren Buffet, Rachel Maddow, Jack Smith.
This is achieved by getting their hands on a few seconds of video of the celebrity and overplaying into an AI bot giving the appearance that it is the celebrity speaking. Rachel Maddow, a key figure on CNN News is an example. They originally hid the disclosure of it being AI in a small “more” just below the heading. The AI learned that most viewers never saw the subtle “more” prompt and now simply don’t disclose the fact at it is AI.
I spend hours every day studying YouTube’s podcast and segment my viewing into a “reliability” rating system . For Trustworthy reliable news on what’s going on in Canada I rely on the first two podcast sites below and for what is transpiring in America I pretty well rely on Meidas Touch because the only place that the lying stops today is in the courts and Meidas Touch is owned and operated by highly experienced American lawyers responding to legal situations tearing America apart. The message is that an assertion is made and it’s not under oath in a court in America you simply cannot rely on it to one true.
